Four Tips For Video Product Reviews
Are you joining the video revolution and adding video product reviews to your website or blog? If so, be sure that you are making the videos as persuasive as possible. Whether you are recording professionally or casually, here are four tips that will help any video product review.
One. It should go without saying, but you need to be sure to show the product that you are reviewing. That means putting it right in front of the camera. Make sure that you show the product from all pertinent angles.
Two. Include packaging in the video. Start your video from the time that you open the box. Often consumers like to see how well something is packaged as it comes from the manufacturer. Have everything pre-opened but simulate for the viewer how the product comes out of the packing.
Three. State the name of the product several times. At a minimum, you should give the full name of the product at the beginning and the end of the video. Mentioning it at least one other time in the video will help it stick in the viewer's mind.
Four. Be sincere in your evaluation. Viewers can tell when a video is too scripted or you are merely reading off the box or the product description. Explain how you personally plan to use the product and what your honest opinion of the product is.
Video product reviews should be both informative and entertaining. While you will find many different opinions on video quality, length, and style, the above tips will help with any video and any product.
